This site is currently utilizing (slightly modified) Beez fabulous template overrides for the main content section - also GPL'd - until I have time to revise further, or replace them with custom ones. It was a quick way to remove the remaining tables for a pure CSS layout ;-)
(Yes, I know there are a couple tables left, but they are proper tables, not layout tables! I'll never do another "slice'n'dice" site again!)
The image gallery is a modified Simple Image Gallery - fixed to produce valid output, and aesthetic changes, of course.
Creation Tools
These days, and for quite some time now, Anomaly uses only open source software for his creation tools. Unfortunately, some specialty hardware needs commercial drivers to function, so some final output has to be done outside of linux ... for now.
Tools used to create the site - and pretty much everyday workflow: gimp, inkscape, scribus, gedit, kwrite, quanta+, bluefish, kcolour, imagemagick and bash scripts, running on, of course, linux! Who needs Adobe... or commercial software, for that matter :)
Testing
The site is no longer supporting old, outdated browsers - like msie6! Testing is done on multiple platforms, utilizing recent versions of: Firefox / Iceweasel, Safari, Google Chrome, Opera, MSIE 7+, SeaMonkey, Dillo, Lynx.
No more convoluted hacks, browser detection schemes, workarounds, or multiple versions! Join the IE Death March, and help put outdated browsers out of our misery!
Machines
Ano's machines run: slackware (kde3), gentoo (openbox), ubuntu (gnome), eeebuntu (gnome), kubuntu (kde4), opensuse (kde4), opensuse (gnome), arch (xfce), vector (kfce), redhat (enlightenment), and an xp or 2 for gaming. You couldn't pay him enough to use vista! Compiz Fusion > aero anyday
