Basically, at the moment we don't intentionally collect or store any personal information, with the exception of automatic statistics generated by the content management system, and web server.
Third-party advertisements may use cookies, and/or collect visitor information. Please visit Google for information on their policies related to Adsense.
The content management system uses session cookies to generate generic usage statistics; for example: which pages are viewed the most. This is harmless to the end-user, and handy for us to see what people are interested in. Disabling cookies will not affect the functionality of the site whatsoever.
The web server that hosts the site also collects generic statistical data, to generate reports about the most visited pages, where people are visiting from, like most web servers do.
We do not publish, or sell any of this information, to anyone, anywhere, for whatever reason. We don't backup this data externally, nor maintain any database of this information. Quite simply, we're not data collectors, or farmers, nor do we ask for any personal information about our visitors.
Obviously, when contacting us we need some information in order to reply, in the form of an email address or phone number. This information is not used in any way other than intended, to reply to requests initiated by the visitor. We don't sell it, publish it, or collect it for such purposes.
We have no use for collecting users data: we don't offer accounts here, don't do mass mailings, nor have an online store, article comments, forums, newsletter, or anything else to sign up for!
Since neither of us are lawyers, I'm hoping that covers everything. Anomaly's a privacy freak, too, and shares your concerns for privacy and anonymity.
